DOWNLOAD HERE I’m on a beat LP kick lately and came across this on Bloggerhouse. After seeing the dope cover art around the net for a few weeks, I pulled the trigger and thought “what the hell.” As the story apparently goes, these two producers live in Bed-Stuy (hey neighbors!) and sampled exclusively 70’s records [...] I like cover songs, so long as the covering artist puts a personal flair on the original. If I wanted to listen to someone do the same thing as the original artist, I’d listen to the original artist. That’s why I was pretty happy to stumble across Aloe Blacc’s version of “Billie Jean.” This all [...] So, everyone we are down to the final revision stage for Machine Head, the second music video off of For Rent. It’s looking good the story for the video is dope. I wish I could have you guys in the room for a sneak preview but alas. We will have to settle with stills from [...] I had a music teacher tell me once that you can tell a real musician by how comfortable he is with his instrument (…pause). Freddie Mercury looks more comfortable on stage than B.B. King does with a guitar. He was a talented guy. If we can perform or put on a show [...] Well now you do. I love these guys. I remember being in middle school when their first album dropped in America, and the song “Clint Eastwood” and the video absolutely hooked me. This was when MTV2 was just getting started and they were actually showing videos all day long. This new track “Stylo” premiered [...] V count Macula – So Damn Busy from THIRSTY BOY ENT. on Vimeo. There’s nothin’ like a buncha MC’s who can take a simple beat and murder it. Like, I dare you to try and do what these dudes did. This is the type of song that makes us work that much harder. Also, J.Cole is going to get a nickname if he keeps murdering people on their own [...] |
